I channelled my inner Martha Stewart yesterday and made some rice pudding. The Husband actually raves about my rice pudding. Which makes me all warm and fuzzy. To quote Shrek: "I don't mean to brag, but I make a mean
weedrat stew rice pudding."
I like mine cold, just a little runny, with cinnamon sprinkled on top.
MMMmmmmmmm!!
Not bad for an amateur, huh? There may be hope for me yet!

They do look yummy. I don't think I've ever had rice pudding before. Hmmmm.
Looks delish to me too....I can almost smell it!!!
So sorry but rice puddin makes me gag...
When we come over for dinner I'll bring dessert.
yummo - but only if it's warm. otherwise, i'm gaggin in unison w/Alex (esp. if there's a big glob of 'skin' in it - *dryheave*)
can you please post the recipe?? i LOVE rice pudding :)
pretty please?
p.s i like it cold too, i never heard of eating it warm.. that seems weird!
ETW: I had never had rice pudding either. It kinda looks like maggots to me, so it grossed me out. But when we were in the Dominican Republic a few years ago, I tried it out. I fell in love!
BBS: The cinnamon makes is smell devine!
Alex: That's a deal. Your desserts are always awesome!! xoxo
l_f: You made ME dry heave! ick!! The trick to preventing the skin is to place plastic wrap so that it completely touches the entire surface. There will be a quiz later ...
Gina: I'll post it in a day or so (psst ... if you knew l_f, you wouldn't be surprised she likes it warm. She has an unnatural love affair with food. I've never met anyone who loves and appreciates food as much as her. To make matters worse ... she's skinny. B*tch!)
